The webpage for this show says tickets on sale 9am on 11 December, but if you click the link and own up to being a non-member, it says tickets on sale at 10am.

Presumably there is an hour from 9am to 10am when only members can book. Anyone fancy paying the £35 fee and booking a block of tickets?

I must admit I had to do a double take, as I was sure when clicking on this thread it was going to be Bexhill USA, or Australia , or somewhere else in some other continent.
Having checked it is UK, and although not on my doorstep , I'm right up for this !.............................................anyone know where Bexhill is ? ? ?

Why I thought everyone knew where Bexhill is located:

"Said Red Molly to James that's a fine motorbike
A girl could feel special on any such like
Said James to Red Molly, well my hat's off to you
It's a Vincent Black Lightning, 1952
And I've seen you at the corners and cafes it seems
Red hair and black leather, my favorite color scheme
And he pulled her on behind
And down to Bex Hill they did ride."

Richard Thompson 1952 Vincent Black Lightning

Just as an aside, I believe the De La Marr Pavilion in Bexhill gets a mention on some of Spike Milligan's WW2 autobiographies ! :?

It's somewhat of a surprise venue. Looks like the credit card is going to take a caning...

I'm back in row K - it looks as if some of the 'better' seats are on the ents24 website.............I'll wave to you all from the back!

It's a long way from Edinburgh to Bexhill but the main thing is that it's hopefully the first of many 2014 gigs!

It's my birthday on 2nd July so a nice wee Scottish gig around them would be great

It's not a bad venue. Saw Billy Bragg there couple of years ago. Nice sea views.

Despite Mrs VG's mass protestations about losing me yet again all summer ("Not again. Haven't you seen him enough. Don't think you're going to every show etc) she still bought me a ticket whilst I was indisposed at a funeral today. It was row D so naturally I chastised her as I only sit in Rows A and B. Or Row C at a push.

And as well as that I corrected her and told her I didn't go to EVERY show in 2012 and 2013. She needs to get her facts straight

By the way, it's very cold in this doghouse

Wow Edinburgh to Bexhill I am well impressed. But I am now a tad worried.

I went on the gig website shortly after 9 and did that not a member link thing and it offered me Row M seat 7
Wasn't happy with that and decided to call them. Answer phone not open till 10 ...poo
Called at 10 answer phone,5 past answer phone ,10 past answer phone,I was turning into Mike Tyson now,and I am standing on the deck of ship, it's noisy ,am under pressure , just want a better seat,14 minutes past 2,rings an answer, he wants to take my details first.... no fool all the seats are going on the net as we are doing this intro thing, he's in THAT screen can't change.....now after an eternity we are into the blood and guts... he offered stalls or balcony....if I don't get better than M7 it's the balcony and a short rope.... hold on stalls center... that's the one ....I am sure he said B14 ...was noisy...Could have been P14.....paid over the phone no e mail confirma tion.....I shall call tomorrow....

Where is Bexhill on Sea asks Mrs ...It's near the sea I say ,we live near the sea so it can't be that far....I say

That seems to have held her off for now, until she finds out that when the tide go's out here it go's in at Bexhill

PS note to self ,don't ring till 14 minutes past.

You can wave to me also in row K, which I was assured by the man in the box office was only half way back, and a whole five pounds cheaper than the rows in front.

I'm in row J so I don't want any noisy chatter (or singing) behind me whilst I'm manipulating Mr Marantz !! I think the making of setlist notes is acceptable though MOOT !

Looks like there's a group of us midway back then 8)

I definitely think these things should be staggered according to height - us shorties at the front

ents24 seems to be the ticket site for the seats closest to the front - looks like they have stalls row C available just now
