Hope to see you there VG
I was wondering about this. Who would be the bigger draw? Still, either way, a duet of Days or See My Friends wouldn't go amiss.

Nicola76 informs me that the new running orders will be announced on Wednesday. Depending upon times I may have tickets to give away. Will keep you posted

For me, the line up is an absolute dream albeit in an arena other than Hyde Park! And it will be interesting to see what the line up will be as I would expect the headliner to play the longer set, although if Nick Lowe is having to move from the smaller stage to the main stage, it may be that the give each of the 'main' acts the same performance time. I'm sure Elvis can easily play for 90 mins, and I'm not sure whether Ray Davies was playing solo or with a band. I guess it's a toss up as to which of the two are the main act for the evening.

Going to wait to book a hotel tomorrow once I know what the times are - the cheapest are those out by the airports, but that will be transport dependant.

For the line-up, wouldn't it be a great idea to end the evening with an all-star band, featuring Elvis, Ray and Nick?
They could sing their best known songs and some other classics that everybody knows and can sing along to.

(This site implies that Ray Davies problably plays solo: http://www.bst-hydepark.com/events/detail/ray-davies )
Since you put me down, it seems i've been very gloomy. You may laugh but pretty girls look right through me.

I have seen Ray Davies recently. He did about 90 minutes. The first half was himself and a guitarist I think called Bill Hurley.

Then a band joined him. Not sure he will do the same with a venue as big as Hyde Park. He was very good when I saw him.

I did notice on twitter they say all ticekts habe gone. But they said that before I got mine yesterday.

This could be a real career booster for Elvis. A lot of the audience might barely know his work & decide to check out his back catalogue. Or maybe Elvis will do North in full (which would be great!) & confound them.

Thanks John they are quite a big company so we are hoping they will find her something else.

All is not lost. The young sheep has an interview there as well next week. She is doing some cover during college holidays at the moment. They asked Mrs Sheep to apply for the same vacancy but she said she's not Ed Milliband

I have looked on the website these were the pre Elton pulling a sickie, on stage times.

Elvis was due on 17.00 - 18.15
Ray was due on 18.45 - 20.00
Nick was on the unwind stage 20.00 -20.45

Elvis I would have thought will now do a bit extra and probably start around the Ray was due to. I know Nick isn't a megastar these days but I cant see him starting pre Gaby Aplin 16.30. Especially as he and was originally due on late evening

The revised stage times should be available later on this evening. According to their Twitter account the event will still finish at 10.30pm.

I still think Elvis is a bigger draw as a headliner than Ray but then I'm probably a bit biased. Let's hope the supergroup suggestion materialises.

According to the BST app

Elvis is on at 19.00 until 20.15

Ray is on 21.00 - 22.15 both still doing 75 minute sets

Nick Lowe is still down as playing the unwind but now at 16.45. I am sure they must mean the main stage. That's a shame is that is true that is far too early.

Not sure whether to be insulted or proud of her taste.

Young sheep (or should that be lamb, at 17 she's probably past the lamb stage) the other night said 'I only want to see Ray Davies. If he died and I had passed up the opportunity to see him sing Waterloo Sunset live I would be gutted'. @its one of my favourite songs'

Although she did have a photo taken with Elvis at Southend.

Accidents Will Happen has always been my favorite opening song for a concert: "I just don't know where to begin . . . "

Great setlist for a crowd that might not know his other stuff! All the hits (apart from Bedlam)!

What were the crowd like? Responsive? Indifferent? I had something else booked that night, but I sort of also didn't wanna go in case they were totally unresponsive cos of it being a freebie - lots of pissed people only there cos it's free, dicking about.

Lookin' forward to the details from our trusty reporters! x
