London Meet Up - Saturday 14th July

Post by verbal gymnastics »

Yes it's that time again.

A London meet up has been arranged for Saturday 14th July at 2pm.

It's the usual starting venue of the Garrick Arms in Charing Cross Road.

STOP - and take in the discussions of our first meet up since the Songbook Shows 8)

LOOK - at and then take away the marvels of the spectaculr spinning CDs that sulky lad will bring

LISTEN - to John (because you can't get a word in edgeways    )

It would be good to see some new faces as well, especially as there have been some good new contributors to the board.

Who's in?

I'm looking forward to getting a few words in , trying to make myself heard above the babble about all the shows I missed. My trip will be all too brief , flying in 'n out on the same day. I'm hoping to see the Alan Turing exhibition at Science Museum in the morning, nip down to the Cadogan Hall to pick up my ticket for the Joe Jacksonshow there on Nov. 10th ( date for the next meet up perhaps?) and then meeting up at two with everyone before getting the six o'clock train back to the airport.

Would be nice to further my reacquaintance with Sulky and Verbal after the Cambridge experience and meet others, and of course you for a first time, John, but that date isn't possible for me (I'm invited to a 50th, but actually I'm still hankering after Latitude on a 1 day ticket - Elbow, Rufus W, Laura Marling and Richard Hawley on the same line-up is almost too good to be true). Maybe Nov 10, though I'll have been down to London the previous weekend for my mum's 80th and my entire clan going to see Matilda!

Have fun!

It would be great to see you Otis.

Saturday November 10th sounds like a great date for a London meet up as I'm seeing Sean Lock that evening at the Leicester Square Theatre.
