Fan forum has talent (?)

This is for all non-EC or peripheral-EC topics. We all know how much we love talking about 'The Man' but sometimes we have other interests.

Fan forum has talent (?)

Post by verbal gymnastics »

Do you have an unusual talent?

I can write legible backwards joined up writing.

It will come in useful if there is a shortage of people to write the signs for Police or Ambulance...

those are important post-apocalyptic skills!

I'm good at word scrambles. Yeah, that's gonna save some lives.
Like me, the "g" is silent.

I can misspell at the drop of a hat-makes me excellent at Scrabble!

My favourite Scrabble word is 'ibex'.

I don't know anybody else who can write backwards although I know plenty of people who can't spell. So unfortunately Christopher, your talent is not that unusual

I enjoy chopping wood. With an axe, not with a gas-powered chopper. No really. I consider it both a sport and a necessity in my neck of the woods. Luckily (well actually it was planned), we have a wood-burning fireplace.

Good stuff So Lack. I take it those are all members of the Fan Forum. It would be helpful if you could let us know who is who on the clip.

Oh go on then.

Filmed at the 2005 'I am a fan forum poster get me out of here' reunion my recollection is as follows:

10. Shoulder blade beer can crush - you ofc Mr Problem you just wanted a mention. Seen you do your party trick many a time.
09. Coconut with teeth - A Rope Leash
08. Hot Water bottle with nose - Noseradio
07. Chillies in eye - Mech Grace
06. Burping 110 decibels - Mr Average
05. Painting with tongue - Bambooneedle
04. Corkscrew through nose - Copenhagen Fan
03. Eyeball popper - El Vez
02. Balloon with ear - King Hoarse
01. Milk through eye - Oily Slick

Ah...El Vez.

One of the previous incarnations of this board had a thread called Ask El Vez where you'd ask a question and he'd reply with a great, usually funny answer. I miss him.

This has also led me to thinking that one of the threads on the past board was a fun game of mixing titles of Elvis songs. Mr So Lack himself posted "You'll never be a horse" which still makes me laugh to this day.
