I can understand where you are VG. I have been of the opinion over the last five or so years that his best shows, these days, are on his own or with a small backing unit like you had. As you stated previously, I would trade numerous SSS shows for one like you had. The one I saw in Boston this past Spring pales behind the reports from you, SL and BWOP. There is an energy when he is on his own and he tackles his repertoire with a renewed freshness and I think his vocals are better as he does not have to strain to get over a band.
