Back to where we left off (conversation killers...)

This is for all non-EC or peripheral-EC topics. We all know how much we love talking about 'The Man' but sometimes we have other interests.

Interesting topic! I must admit that I am a magnet for gays.....However I don't find their interest in me disturbing in any way. I take it as a compliment.

On the other hand...I am not a handyman and don't have too many macho interests, and speak Danish with a strange feminine upper class sounding accent, according to my girlfriend. I think I can live with it.....especially since I am a huge fan of backdoor love.

A lot of Christians wear crosses around their necks. Do you think when Jesus comes back he ever wants to see a fuckin' cross? It's kind of like going up to Jackie Onassis with a rifle pendant on.

If MBA has a new obsession then here's my new object of desire. Don't get too excited, it's only his (very dark) arm.

miss ba, congrats on the love stuff. it is wonderful stuff. i remember being in love before. it's been a while, unless you count crushes as love. those come and go pretty regularly. a girl's gotta keep busy.

i'm bored. i need to mail out bunches of contracts. this requires making form letters less formy and packaging and xeroxing. bleh. i want to be hanging with my buds drinking and chattering about beautiful people.

i considered going to toronto trek for about 12 seconds. it does have my fav actor there, but then *i'd miss seeing elvis!!!* damn. can't do that!

see, i have my priorities straight. sort of.

Ok, Poppet, I missed something somewhere. Just what kind of convention did you attend? I'm bored too, getting ready for the semi-annual dose of pain that is the 401k enrollment. Imagine trying to get anybody to sign up right now. I feel like some kind of con artist when I try to get all enthusiastic about it. I should take lessons from GWB.

i think i chattered on in the books thread about it. Buffy the Vampire Slayer convention. yes, i am geek girl. held at the worst spa and resort hotel in the world, in Catskill NY. but, meeting people was wonderful. and i got to gawk bigtime at Anthony Stewart Head. yes, that makes me very happy.
