Songs You'd Like to Hear EC Sing...

Post by Who Shot Sam? »

Maybe a bit obvious, but I'd love to hear him do George Jones' "The Grand Tour". The only problem is that it would be hard for Elvis to improve on the Billy Sherrill-produced version, which is simply superb.

Any song that I have written, preferably placed first on his new album, "EC sings the Great Unknowns"

"Progress" - Mission of Burma
"The Prizefighter" - the Velvet Teen

I'd also get a kick out of hearing him tear through the Meteors' "Wrecking Crew"

Tokyo:
"Outside the Trains Don't Run on Time" - Gang of Four

Great Choice. Quirky. It would be very interesting to see how the Imposters arrange it...right down Steve's alley.

I'd love him to do a few Beatles covers like "Across The Universe", "And Your Bird Can Sing" or "Nowhere Man".

This would be a good one! I have a hard time imagining him doing other people's songs......no, it's more like I have a hard time picking a song I think he should do.
I liked some of the suggestions like The Walrus and Psycho Killer.
I'm not angry anymore....
