If Garrett eventually becomes PM...and Ruben Blades does as he once threatened and runs for President of Panama...well, I think that would be good, I guess.

It is actually not such a far fetched idea. The Labour Party is already hinting at the fact that if they knock over John Coward's Liberals (equivalent to your Republicans), then there is a good chance Garrett will be offered a front bench seat... which would most likely see him emerge as Environment Minister I would think.bobster wrote:If Garrett eventually becomes PM...and Ruben Blades does as he once threatened and runs for President of Panama...well, I think that would be good, I guess.
He is extremely intelligent, erudite, and passionate about the causes he believes in, so there is no reason why he could not one day end up in the highest office... as long as he survives the muck raking and dirty politics that are sure to be thrown up in his path because of who he is and where he has come from.
