Diana `n Parky
Diana `n Parky
Diana did Love Me like A Man and Narrow Daylight. The first was with Erskine/McBride/Wilson and the show`s Big Band ; the latter was a Diana `n trio performance. She was not interviewed. She looked great , no rings
on her fingers , dark clothes with a reddy/blue neck scarf and a great big smile at finish of the songs.

DIANA KRALL
The Girl in the Other Room

DIANA KRALL’s bank manager — and an awful lot of her
fans — would be happy to see her continue to turn out
string-laden ballad albums. It’s to the Canadian
singer-pianist’s credit that she is striking out in a
new direction, with a little help from new husband,
Elvis Costello. Krall has often talked about how she
spent part of her youth listening to Peter Frampton:
this is not a rock album by any means, but the sultry
covers of Joni Mitchell’s Black Crow and Tom Waits’s
Temptation are a sign that she is eager to spread her
wings. Her version of Costello’s Almost Blue is a
beauty too, although the half of the disc devoted to
new material co-written with him is a little too
self-consciously hip. If this is the first instalment
of a new career, however, the next step should be even
more intriguing. Two stars CLIVE DAVIS

I have seen it, and yes, Pete Erskine was great. Although I'm not a musician (or drummer), I could see that he was fantastic!Otis Westinghouse wrote:Damn, have spent the weekend misssing stuff on TV! Would have liked to have seen this, especially to have a look at Pete ('brushwork on North so ethereal it almost doesn't exist') Erskine.
And yes, Diana was great also. She is a fine singer and pianist.
Since you put me down, it seems i've been very gloomy. You may laugh but pretty girls look right through me.
