Six days until I get to hear the submissions. It will take some time after that for me to finalize the tracklist, mix things up a bit, etc.

Oliver's Army lost its free studio time (stupid handshake deals). I will have to send you some far inferior recordings of a practice. Too bad, as we have a new drummer, and he's amazing. The last one was very very good, but Mark really plays like Pete.

Since we're having technical problems with the FTP site, I'm going to move the deadline to Friday night at midnight.

Hopefully by then I can sort everything out.

Still no word from taz. Sorry to those of you who have tried uploading over the past week. Hopefully I'l have an answer for you soon. Meanwhile, it's very unlikely that tomorrow will remain the deadline.

Okay... the deadline of tonight has been postponed til further notice. I really hope that people are working hard on their songs, and that we can have this whole thing wrapped up soon. Thank you to those who are done and have been patiently waiting for us to resolve our technical difficulties.

GREAT NEWS!!!

spooky's wonderful husband Joel has helped us set up an FTP that should work better than what we had set up before.

ftp://www.rtems.com/incoming

Submissions should be uploaded to the following FTP site. I look forward to receiving everyone's submissions as soon as they are ready.

Any questions/comments/concerns/etc, please private message me and I will get back to you. Woopee!!!!!!!!!!
This morning you've got time for a hot, home-cooked breakfast! Delicious and piping hot in only 3 microwave minutes.

And I moved it to where BlueChair can get it

Post by DrSpooky »

I noticed the file this morning and moved it to where BlueChair can download it.
This sounds odd but the incoming directory can be written to but no one can read
from it from the Internet. That makes it a fairly safe way to transfer files without
people sneeking peeks at them. I then move the files to a place where BlueChair
can read them. Unfortunately, I don't get automatic notifications when a
file is uploaded. So I have to know when a file is uploaded to know when I need to
move something

So, if people will post when they upload, I will watch this thread and try to move
files as soon as I can once they are uploaded.

I hope this makes a bit of sense. Computer nerds don't always explain things
clearly enough.

Even 11 would have been fine, but 6 is most certainly fine :D
