This radiostation (Radio 6) is covering the North Sea Jazz Festival: http://nieuwsentips.radio6.nl/2010/06/2 ... j-radio-6/

You can listen live. There is a chance that a part of the performance of EC or an interview will be aired.

At least they don't clash with the soccer this time!

Got to stand right at the front for this one! The set was similar to last night in Bruges, but slightly shorter. He finished with "I Want You" this time, right after doing "Sulfur to Sugarcane". I'll see if my camera recorded any kind of usable image.

It seems this time around it was Diana's turn to compete with football - though it seems she took it in stride, sporting a KNVB jersey to the show:

This is a photo I took of him singing "Complicated Shadows" at North Sea Jazz - the first song of the show.

We got front row too. Awesome show once again. Compared to the 100% CRAZINESS of the Cactus show, I'd rate this one 99%, only because the madness caused by the rain was absent. Of course: nothing the King could be held accountable for! Got me the Spectacle DVD's at one of the stores. Nothing short but an obvious understatement of the Man's genius.

That's one of the best shots of EC I've ever seen.

Radio6 (Netherlands) has 75 minutes of EC & the Sugarcanes, July 11 at
the North Sea Jazz Fest, streaming here:

http://festivals2.radio6.nl/page/festiv ... 10/concert

(scroll down a page and a half)

It concludes with the Sugarcanes version of "I Want You" beginning at
around 68:20.

If you have a Mac at least and have Flip4Mac installed you can download the stream as a Quick Time Movie file - its 177.2mb in size.

On the http://player.omroep.nl/?aflID=11269197 ... rthseajazz page on the right hand side of the play bar (the left hand side has the volume and play/pause button) is a down 'arrow'. When I click on this I get the following options:

About Flip4Mac WMV web plug in...
Save as source...
Save as Quick Time Movie...
Plug In Settings...

Saving as source just generates a .asf file, however saving as Quick Time Movie saves the whole show as, presumably, a .AVI file. This I can play on the Mac and have just opened in Amadeus Pro to inspect it; it is the whole 75 minute broadcast.

That's how I saved it. You can also download the QuickTime file here:
http://www.mediafire.com/?1v853mb35bnd879

I can post a FLAC version if there's interest, but it'll be from the same lossy source. (Despite being lossy, it's the best-sounding Sugarcanes show since Austin City Limits.)
