Larry Knechtel RIP

Post by DeathWearsABigHat »

Apologies if this has already been posted but Larry Knechtel died today aged 69,
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/8217939.stm

He played keyboards on the Mighty Like A Rose & Kojak Variety albums, and toured with EC as part of the Rude 5.
Not only that, he also played the fantastic piano part on Mama Cass's Dream a Little Dream, the guitar solo on Bread's Guitar Man, played bass on the Byrd's Mr Tambourine Man & Elvis 68 Comeback Special, as well as Hammond organ on Pet Sounds. And best of all played on the Munsters theme too!
Quite a CV, I wonder if there's a definitive session list somewhere on the net.
