Steve Nieve woken up by the hotel room changing shape, walls floor and ceiling moving in different directions, building making loud groaning noises. An announcement says the elevators are out of action until further notice. 42 floors above Shinjuku, feeling very small....
Steve Nieve at the lobby on the 41st floor two dozen hotel guests still in their jammies. Main elevator just came back, so I am heading down to put my feet on solid ground. Most people seem calm and reassured, this building is designed to stand strong quakes so probably safer inside than out. Seems it was 6.6 ....

yep. Sunday evening it was a pretty ugly one here. Then this morning (tuesday) came another one even worse. Those earthquakes are annoying. No injuries and a few damages reported. Enough for some time now! pleaseeee!!!!
