To be honest, I tend to agree with this. Chelsea (like Man Utd last year) proved that Barca are not all that really. Chelsea should have won and have the ref and their own poor finishing to blame, not to mention their negativity in the 1st leg - when will teams realise that 0-0 away is not a great result in the CL.

Barca and Arse are very pretty to watch, but it all feels a little superficial with no real bite. Wining in La Liga is one thing, beating Man Utd in the CL Final will be beyond them I think. It pains me to say it, but Utd are on a different planet to the others.

Finally, a convincing victory by the red Bulls last night. Took the kids - they seem to being good luck - and we played our best game of the season against a poor San Jose team. 4-1 at halftime and that's how it ended. Mac Kandji looks like he's gonna be a great striker in the league, Rojas scored twice and Angel added one.

Hmm, can't condone what Drogba did there but I can fully understand it. I did not see that at the time (though I read about it of course). I had switched the TV off and was probably screaming at the wall. Ruud said it well - it's understandable but you have to control your emotions if you're a player in a situation like that.

Drogs is so frustrating. He has the ability to just tear teams apart with his strength and pace but then he pulls something like this that leaves him open to criticism. I don't know what to do about him. If we sold him, who would we replace him with? I can't think of anyone better. On the other hand he's probably going to get a suspension from UEFA so they will have to do something. A lot will depend upon the manager they appoint, I suppose. I'll be sad to see Hiddink go. He's done an excellent job and coolly fixed the mess that Scolari left.

Not too surprisingly, Norfolk Enchance are last at present, some 580 points behind Inv Pole's leaders. I've put the hours in, but had a crap season due to repeatedly poor judgement, lots of bad luck, and admittedly too much of a Ronaldo fixation. Mid table here, and a shocking 13th at work.

Well - wanking over Ronaldo is a bit far fetched. But to make the statement that you don't wank over anybody is kind of incredulous. (I mean figuratively "wank over") - Certainly you aren't too old to have a wank! In my realm there's usually an object of fantasy - some imagery if you will, incorporated into the act - normally an image of a real life person!
