Probably.

Nevertheless he'll put in a team and overtake mine in a couple of weeks!

I was, and assembled a team in about 5 mins before leaving, and well before it was clear who would or wouldn't be playing. I'll sign up soon, though my start was horrendous (Fabregas as captain, Essien and Tevez not playing). Agbonlahor alone avoided total humiliation. And MU drew! Oh well, we traditionally start poorly in the years when we take the title.

Remembered to sign the Slaughters up. I['m 7th at present. Deco makes for a somewhat less horrendous start to the season together with Laursen (somehow) and Lescott continuing their roles as star defenders. (Surely if proper rules applied, Laursen would be docked for more or less losing Villa the game.)

A clean sheet for MU tomorrow coupled with a hat-trick for Tevez should set me right.

Last week I had Gerrard as captain and he scored 3 points doubled whilst Lampard scored...

I put Lampard as Captain this week and he scored 3 points doubled whilst Gerrard scored.

It's going to be a long season for me...

I've already ruled myself out of winning the title (unless the title is Who is the Worst Fantasy Football Manager".

Verbal, it looks like I'm going to be a strong contender for the Worst Manager title.
This morning I sold Wigan's Valencia and replaced him with Geovanni from Hull.
Surprise, suprise, Hull is losing 0 : 4 at the moment, and Valencia scored one of the goals.
Isn't that nice ?

Switched captains from Lampard to Arteta at the last minute...it's not working out on the Arteta end. This is where as a Fantasy Manager I find myself in a strange position. I still want maximum points of of Lampard; but if he does no better than Arteta I feel less stupid about the move - if that makes any sense.

Glad I kept Valencia! Less glad I didn't hold out for Fabregas's return, then again, switching to Deco last week was OK. WIll Chels trounce Spurs tomorrow?

I'm afraid I'm out before it's even really started, guys. :( I've missed the last couple of weeks and I'll be missing a couple of weeks mid-September and December so might as well give it up now. Good luck to the rest of you!

Quitter! Come on - you can always make up lost ground. Perseverance, that's all.

Hah - checked and you're neck and neck with me, and you know what that means come May! Took me a few seconds to get what your bizarre looking and sounding team name was all about!!!
