I must tell you guys that I am officially a board widow. Doc hasn't hardly spoken to me in two days while doing these upgrades.

I encourage each of you to spend time in customizing your own site view and getting to know the new features that Doc has spent so much time on improving. As with any new change, there are bugs to work out, but Doc is using his own vacation time to work on this, so have mercy on us.

Everyone remember that if you want the avatars on the left, choose subsilver2. If you want them on the right, try prosilver.

It is nice seeing the embedded videos. Plus you can attach pictures directly to your post so their should be better content now.

we all appreciate your efforts...thanks. sorry if i came off mean about it. it's just i was born in the 50's and all this computer stuff is quite the task for me. so, big changes like this ALWAYS get me confused anew for a longer period than it would most folks born more recently. a HAPPY NEW YEAR to all, nothing but the best!!! i sure hope to bring home a respectable recording from A.C. especially if i am the only one taping. please hope for NO FRISK upon entry all!!!!!!!!!

sure does. The default font setting (in Safari) looks great - different to before. A good screen font.

Just let me know if you see anything weird. I am noticing that the stuff across the top doesn't render in a rectangle all the time and the amazon.com static image isn't there reliably. <sigh>

At least all the Christmas rebates are done and the leaves are up AGAIN.

I actually really like this new style, although the nickname and avatar sections on the right instead of the usual left are a bit unsettling (that's not the right word but you get my drift). Also, I have to scroll down nearly half the page to get to the posts because of the heading at the top - it's huge!

PoP, go into your user control panel and change your board preference to subsilver 2 rather than prosilver. That will shift everything back to the left and will probably change the top heading as well.

OK. I think the content at the top of the page is reasonably correct under prosilver and subsilver2. I noticed some oddities that I think I corrected. It is possible that with lower resolution screens, things might not look the same but I think we are OK now.
