I think North coheres more as an album--songs like "Swine" and "This Offer is Unrepeatable" sort of break up the mood of TJL. And "Why?" is simply execrable, which cannot be said of any song on North.

Gotta be TJL.

North needed more Brodsky numbers, IMHO. They work well together, musically.

Plus I know how Jackson feels about Jacqueline.

This score flabbergasts me. TJL was a great record. I like a lot of North but....oh well.... :?

I tried, Jackson. I love TJL. I really do. I listen to it while I'm driving and sometimes I even find myself waving my hand around like I'm directing an orchestra. I know people must think I'm crazy when they see me stopped at a red light somewhere. :)

unbelievable.
north is up 3-to-1.
juliet letters is a great album.
who do you think you are and almost had a wekness are about the best elvis songs that are a departure from the 'expected'.
so far, i am having trouble 'getting' north but it is a nice listen.
juliet letters is one of his moodiest albums and i think it runs togother nicely.
and, in fact i like 'why'
oh, i useta be disgusted
now i try to be amused
