They asked for a specific tip? Well I'm glad they got nothing.

Well they sorta demanded rather than asked, because they didn't seem very happy hearing 'no'. They were just thick.

Why is it that, no matter my diligence and care when applying sunblock, the backs of my knees always always burn?

As someone whose skin is glow-in-the-dark pale, I keep a bottle of aloe gel in the fridge for just such occasions-- ahhhhhhhhh-- but I'd just as soon never need it again.

When your IPOD (20Gig) becomes filled with 5000 plus songs, why is it so hard to delete songs to make room for new additions?

5000 freaking songs, and I can't pull the plug on any of them. Solution...retire my old black and white Andy Griffith IPOD and upgrade. While it is within my means to do it, the concept is almost morally objectionable since it was only about 10 years ago I was running with a Sony Walkman listening to a cassette tape warble with a total of maybe 20 songs. Now I have immediate access to over 25 times that amount and I cannot decide.

Last night, Doc and I went to dinner in a local grille where people can write messages on the wall (not just in the restrooms) and I saw one that really spoke to me.

"Live like there's no tomorrow,
Dance like no one's looking,
Live like you've never been hurt."

That last line really meant something.

Yes, there is something magical in that union. I try to go easy on the cheese as it blocks up my sinuses and makes me snore more, but this marriage makes me hope I never feel the need to give it up fully. A strong cheddar, thick slabs of tomato, crusty white bread that's fleecy soft inside. A dab of mayo, if you will. Perfect.

I used to have this with a glass of Jersey milk as a kid - what a heady mix! On a recent return to Jersey, I rediscovered the incredible nature of the milk (the full fat type, of course). It's so creamy and rich, it's obscene. I don't usually take milk in anything other than cooked dishes, but I was tucking into cereal with it there simply for the pleasure.

I think I've heard of (Old) Jersey cows being kept in the States, and there are many here in Britain, but nowhere can their milk be the equivalent of back at the source. They're goregoeus cows too:

She is a beautiful cow. And whole milk is the only way to go. Unless one's on a diet or weight concious or something to that effect.

Maybe you're thinking of the stainless steel DeLorean, sadly long gone now...

Anniversary is not for another couple of weeks, but I need to start thinking of something now. Thanks for the props!

My tenth wedding anniversary was a bit of a disaster, the beginning of the end, really (we made it to thirteen). Very bittersweet in retrospect, but I've got very few regrets about it. My Ex is getting re-married in October. Again with the bittersweet...

Is ten the vinyl siding anniversary then?

My advice: get something she doesn't expect you to get, that thing you know she'd want but which always makes you roll your eyes, thinking (if only for a second) "This is who I married?" Because it is who you married, and you love her. Congrats!
