This could be very close. It's KOA for me (easily) but some of you guys and gals crave the simple angry elvis.

Slightly less silly, but still silly. But I guess, rather as with the groups in the Champions League, which are so suspiciously arranged around one superteam per group, you don't want to see the big guns fall at the first hurdle.

Hey Otis....no fixing here. I sat in the corner of my office tearing up little pieces of paper and drawing them out whilst looking at the ceiling.

If you check the draw from yesterday, you'll see that there are one or two closer run things. Armed forces v TYM for example :D

This is a bit unfair. It's like comparing Meet the Beatles to Beatles White, or Boy to Achtung Baby, etc etc. Of course KOA is a better album. Elvis had honed his talents to perfection, matured as an artist. I'll take King, but it's literally men against boys here.

It only took my little finger to blow you away.

What we are finding here is that some EC fans prefer the rougher edged Elvis to the more polished Elvis. I always suspectd that this would happen. This game is pointless and childish but that was always the point. Cruel Smile could be drawn against ImpBed in the next round. It's a 'no brainer' but I wouldn't bet agaist someone voting for the former!

I hate the sound of MAIT and all the irritating twangy-ness that goes with it. 'Detectives' being an exception. Genius, that is.

C'mon KOA, c'mon KOA, c'mon KOA!

My Aim Is True....I love King Of America, but MAIT just pips it because of the 'rough edges'...you can hear the inspiration.

MAIT screams to me of pure, honest, coming out of you so you don't explode music. Just some sort of purity. Yeah, lots of spitting anger, but still a raw, fresh wound sort of music....

I haven't had a lot of time to spend here lately (wanton destruction of your neighborhood will do that), so are we voting for which we like best?

If so, it's King of America for me. MAIT is nostalgic and sentimental for me, love that pigeon-toed skinny boy on the cover, but KOA is just better, and it finds its way into the changer more often.

Don't have KOA, and I adore MAIT. That's that then.

Both are great albums but I've GOT to go with KoA!!!

I feel that you are toying with our very souls in asking us to choose between some of these...cruel.
