So KIng Hoarse was back in town :-) Having wrecked his voice a couple of nights before in the 'pool. the London date featured a little more raspy EC than we would have liked. And as a result a shorter set. Considering the inflated ticket prices it was a little of a swizz but I was glad to finally get to see EC n Mr T.

Personal highlights were the reworked Alison with the horn section, Tears x 3 and the closing Sharpest Thorn as well as Allen and Elvis duetting on Help A Brother and International Exho. Despite the throat (the roadie bringing on a mug of lemsip at the beginning took me back to the first time I saw EC and the A's on the flu hit 1994 UK Xmas tour) I had a ball and much better than anything that was going on in Wembley that night.

Top recording I think, the odd wind noise (no, not THAT) now and again but band and vocals nice and clear.
