Elvis Costello and the Attractions Live at Montreux 1980 DVD

Elvis Costello and the Attractions Live in Montreux 1980.

PRO Shot. Excellent Quality. NTSC
No menu. Cover art included.
Lineage Unknown. Purchased in NYC.

The Show:

Accidents Will Happen (Audio problems first 45 seconds)
The Beat
Temptation
Secondary Modern
Lovers' Walk
Walk and Don't Look Back
Lipstick Vogue
Clubland
From A Whisper to a Scream
Watching the Detectives
You Belong to Me
Mystery Dance
I Can't Help Myself
Oliver's Army
I Can't Stand For Falling Down
Pump It Up
Tomorrow Show

(Approximately 60 Minutes)

Bonus - Tom Snyder Show

New Lace Sleeves
Interview
Watch Your Step

I have not seen this particular DVD torrented. It is an excellent PRO Shot video of Elvis and the Attractions in 1980. There are not many PRO Shot Elvis Costello and the Attraction shows currently in circulation so this is a special treat. Be patient for the first 45 seconds until the sound corrects itself. Then sit back and enjoy the show. One very interesting song is Elvis' cover of the Temptations' "Don't Look Back". The second part of the video is Elvis appearing on the Tom Snyder show. The quality of that footage isn't great but it's interesting to watch.

Holy f**ing shit! A PRO shot live DVD from the Get Happy (or if it's Armed Forces) tour. Amazing!

Call me a half-wit, but I can't get this to play. The files have .vob, .bup, and .ifo extension. Not sure what these are or what to do with them. Any help out there? :)

The vob & bup files are what you'd find on a DVD if you 'explored' it. To play them on a PC you need something like VLC (WMP is cr@p at it).

Hey Ready,

Thanks for the help. I downloaded VLC, but the audio was incredibly distorted. Not sure why that is. Guess I'm doomed not to catch a normal glimpse of this show. :((

Mayhap your PC is underpowered for the task? Of course, the solution is to burn the files as a DVD and watch it on't telly.

MPC http://sourceforge.net/projects/guliverkli/ is great for DVDs, just do a File>Open File then double click on the Video_TS folder, don't select a file, and click open, and the DVD will play as it will actually open the folder as if it were a DVD 8)
Now Chief Teddy Wogan.

can anybody upload this? that dime site seems to be pretty useless, most of the links posted on there expire quickly. What about uploading to piratebay or something?
