Why do you have to remind me that...?

But yes: he´s called JUan Carlos and he´s a Bourbon (drinker).

I am just a fake... but a good one!

Yeah! One of my favorite things on the board - posting pics for fellow board members!

I received this one today from laughingcrow. He is the one on the right.
Thanks for the pic, crow. Nice to finally see the face behind the posts.

Perhaps I should visit Scotland sometime.

aren't those tevas sweet??? necessary when trekking in nepal. perfect for crossing streams in monsoon season. well, except for the first stream, where our guide *carried each of us* over. he didn't trust that we'd keep our footing on the first one.

that was a great trip. :)

I'm a beginner, both in Karate and in determining how to post a picture that is right-sized. Any help on submitting a photo that doesn't blow out the margins? I tried it as a test on your website, spOOky, and it looked okay there. I am going to go back and just make it a url until I figure it out.

My daughter Allison is proud of me for taking up Karate (Kempo). She is 11 years old and will likely test for her black belt this year. I, on the other hand, am just know learning how to properly rotate my fist and then return it back down to my side without falling down alot.

At 46, it isn't as easy as it looked when I joined in November of last year.

Thanks.

Kill Bill? That notion intriqued me, but ended with the last US administration. Its a JOKE. A JOKE. Please don't invoke federal edicts and send the Secret Service.

Either this is a softball thrown to entice me to try to hit into the great political morass of "right" versus "left", or there is a unspoken charge being levied that the 'Grecian Formula for Men' people are all retiring early on the strength of repeat sales of product in the Southern California area.

Or it is an oblique compliment.

I'll take door #3, Monte! ...with a nod and a smile....

The grey is there, lurking just beneath the surface and occasionally peaking through on the temporal regions, just above where my sideburns would be if I had sideburns. It worries me that my peers might someday use the movie title adaptation: "Along Came Pauly", referring to my arrival at a meeting and the fact that the positioning of the rudiments of my grey hair suggest the silvery side wings of Pauly of the Soprano's fame, one of Tony's henchmen of dubious loyalty.
