Actually, this should probably be called, "shoes I saw in Amsterdam."
This big yellow shoe kept stalking me.
Here it is in a canal, with tulips painted on it. Could one get more Dutch?
Its portrait, hanging over a café.
If I were given to puns, I'd call this a pornucopia, but I'm not, so I won't.
They also had little shoes.
And lots of little shoes.
There's also a picture of me pretending to be a hooker, but that's not technically something I saw.

Creepy
What is it about wooden shoes that gives me the creeps? These photos are terrifying!
Which part of a hooker's life were you portraying? Is that why we can't see?

The Raveonettes are an excellent Danish post-punk (which could mean anything, really) band. They have a new album called Chain Gang of Love, which I haven't heard, but Whip It On is excellent. They also had surprisingly good opening acts that I'd never heard of. (The Hong Kong and stellastarr--anybody know them?)
