Okay, I promise to stop hogging the foto threads. Right after this pic of our new puppy Hermione, who arrived yesterday!

It would appear that this has not been a much-used thread.... oh well, it gives me an opportunity to give you a direct comparison, since the last pic was ALSO of my puppy. 1+ year later, weighing in at 65 pounds, I give you, ladies and gents, Hermione:

Image

At 18 months she's still a puppy really. She got herself a bit tangled while I was in getting my iced coffee...

True. Right after I took this, she nabbed them and drove away in my Subaru. Well, she wanted to, anyway.

MG - She's pretty cute. I'd offer to let Hermione meet my parakeets - Nimbus (left) and Hedwig (right) but she might like them for a snack.

Speck. One of the kids (probably Josie) took this with my phone and set it as the background, so when you open it up there's Speck, looking rather skull-ish.

Socks. One of the original Tuxedo kitties.

Gruesome as it may look it's good to see that our new cat isn't too domesticated and is able to forage etc.

I honestly don't think cats can be that domesticated! They're killers! Psycho killers at that. I know they can't be vegetarian, but they seem to have a real physical need to hunt/kill/toy with cruelly.

That's awesome, Moody! You should see if you can teach him to mow the lawn or something. :-)

All dogs are like that.

My boy wants a dog in the worst way, but my wife is not keen on the idea at all. Maybe she'll soften as he gets older.
