Where Do You Post?

Post by lapinsjolis »

I'm waiting for someone else's brilliant take on 'Distorted Angel' (I did it already) on the 'Incredible. . Song Thread' and I can't sleep. So I was wondering where you all post your ingenious, insane posts and where are all of you?!?

Here's my pre-Christmas decorated home office sort of space:
<img src="http://prod.bsis.bellsouth.net/coDataIm ... 622567.jpg" width="470" height="352">

It's the last day of Christmas so it will look closer to this soon. . .with some redecorating.

My CDs are divided into two places here's non-Elvis the little Cd player carries over into my work space due to a half wall.

<img src="http://prod.bsis.bellsouth.net/coDataIm ... MG2885.jpg" width="470" height="285">

And Elvis and boxsets (yes that's Perry Como)-
<img src="http://prod.bsis.bellsouth.net/coDataIm ... MG2889.jpg" width="470" height="279">

Both a mess and my other CD player is in my bedroom 'Trust' is there somewhere. I though bedrooms of board members would be far more telling but this topic isn't exactly burning up the board. The bust is of Shakespeare, he sits and looks superior-it humbles me. (As if I need help!) I do have a Brahms bust though.

My records live elsewhere-I finally have a New Year's resolution to organize it all.

Now your turn Laughing Crow. Where does a young dashing bachelor post?

Why Mr. Misery! Have you ever been kissed by a bunny proper?! It sounds as if you have.

Verbal Gymnastics-Mr. Misery's bunny was Dutch which clears Plaything or Pet. . .I'm pretty sure. Of course you meant my Shakespeare, what else could you have possibly meant?

For Laughing Crow who flew into the night without posting a picture:

Bluechair-I know you could have posted a picture no one will judge you for the Britney/Celine decoupage frame you made for your monitor.

The true bust is this thread. Insomnia I curse thee!

Hey, note the title of the original thread as being "This Is Hell".. I merely added the Celine pic cause it seemed to be a pattern. Obnoxious female pop singers being inducted into the Hollywood Walk Of Fame.

This is the same peice of construction that inspired "Celluloid Heroes" by The Kinks, and it is now being covered with names of obnoxious pop stars.

If Joni Mitchell isn't on the Walk of Fame, then I'll be PISSED.

Bluechair-I was teasing. I trust your taste more than that. I was joking to get you to post a picture. Thwarted again! Maybe my humor doesn't travel very well. :roll:

Oh yeah, since when did Shakespeare look like Father Christmas? He never had that bushy a beard when I knew him!

BlueChair-I thought you had a digital camera and were playing hard to get!

Laughing Crow-That was Brahms to satisfy your need for a classic composer bust. all my jokes are failing this afternoon! Here is a close up of my Shakespeare bust:

Boudoir photo to come? Oh the ladies of board are thrilled.

my current obsession is Lord of the Rings. got all three soundtracks. have been binging.

someday i'll clean the condo and write more letters. since i have been a real BAD correspondent lately. didn't even send all the lovely holiday cards i purchased.

Poppet-I guess all girls have a crush on William. Tolkien is exemplary on every front. Does it effect your decorating? Have Middle Earth style taken over? I received 'Letters From Father Christmas' for Christmas-so very charming, I have a new reverence for polar bears.

I hope you haven't abandoned the board all together. I need tips on fashionable storage from a professional!

First two are where I am at....third is a splice of the spectacled one, and the fourth is my good buddy in my room.

Laughing Crow-Thank you! Your bedroom shows that you are neat, precise, and adorable. A teddy bear?!? Now all the board women will swoon. A very nice well ordered room. Do you rub the Buddha?

A Rope Leash-No words. Mysterious. I'm guessing someone is watching someone at the computer. Thank you for posting.

On the off chance anyone had any expectations about my bedroom it will be a disappointment here is the part with the bed:

Catwoman Barbie in the lower left corner, I was given it for the Epiphany. Hooray!

Is that a shot at my Chateau Quilt? I was redecorating last year but a series of events stopped me from ever finishing. I guess this year I will try to complete it but I want to go in a different direction now that I have a few new art pieces. But things like that are becoming less important.

I love the quilt. You have a fine eye. I thought you might have placed the purse in an intentional pose.

I wish I could see the rest of that painting, there...

I slept on a single bed for many years. Torture.

A Rope Leash-I'm not all that tall and I'm single-so a single is fine. It keeps me honest for the most part. When I marry a full will do nicely-he has to adore me. Here is the full Teresa:

<img src="http://prod.bsis.bellsouth.net/coDataIm ... MG3009.jpg" width="470" height="423">

And the perfect purse (this is more for the ladies as gentlemen usually don't care about purses):

<img src="http://prod.bsis.bellsouth.net/coDataIm ... MG3008.jpg" width="470" height="358">

I've posted so much today!
