Fantasy Football 2011/12

This is for all non-EC or peripheral-EC topics. We all know how much we love talking about 'The Man' but sometimes we have other interests.

Bit of rivalry at the top of the league with long-departed poster Utilitarian Bunny tying with the Fishfinger King. Smart move capataining Bale this week - I saw '75% chance of playing' and worried he might retire after 10 mins. Still, I managed to make Manager of the Month. I will regain my title... one day.

My ability to make poor transfers and pick wrong captains is superb.

I'm aiming for mid table respectability.

Congrats. And you'd have won my hotly contested 30 strong work league too. Inside top 14,000 globally, not too shabby at all.

Shame you had to finish the season with the evil Agüero as you captain, you heartless bastard. We was robbed! the agony.

Can you imagine how easily we'd have won the league this year a) with Vidic, b) with a proper midfield, and no reliance on ageing players, even if remarkable for their age? Incredible that we blew an 8 point lead, and utterly incredible that Agüero pulled off the impossible. Very reminiscent of Champs League Utd v Bayern.

Hope Chelsea beat the latter on Saturday.

Roll on 2012-13!

Congratulations to the King. I also deeply appreciate Mr. Faust who kept me off the bottom.

and I'm going to take this moment and announce my retirement from EPL FF in order to concentrate on my memoirs and my dog. :)

Well done Chris.

Once again, my skills at picking the wrong captain have stood me in bad stead. Following Otis' lead, imagine if I'd picked the right team and the right captain and got more points than anyone else. I'd have won!

MDM - It's been a long hard season. After a break you'll be raring to go for the new season. Especially as the USA have about as much chance as winnig Euro 2012 as England does.
