I'm@ the Apple store writing this on the iPad. The future is here. It's great deal for under $500. I think I'll wait to purchase one.

The 3G model is a much better deal, pay as you go internet, fantastic. Once I have some spending money going anywhere near an apple store may be dangerous........

If you have an iPhone, rather than paying the extra for a 3G iPad, shouldn't you be able to use tethering to provide 3G access to the iPad via the iPhone? Would allow you to save a lot of money on the device as well as remove the need for a second access plan.
