Leap day

This is for all non-EC or peripheral-EC topics. We all know how much we love talking about 'The Man' but sometimes we have other interests.

We're going to Dixie Stampede, but it has nothing to do with Leap Day and everything to do with masochism.

I had a brilliant plan for my kids two Leap Days ago, but they gave me a stomach virus instead.
Like me, the "g" is silent.

This is the last day of employment for half of my department at work (staff reductions) so I'm not sure that "celebrating" is the right word. Lots of cake and hugs going around the office. Sure will be quiet around here on Monday. I'm one of the "fortunate" few that get to keep our jobs. . .for awhile anyway.

We're celebrating with a moustache party. Everyone has to have a moustache, real or fake. I've been growing out a hideous crustache for the past week or so.
Will post photos of the best 'staches.

I grew out my beard a week ago (well I was just too lazy to shave really) and the amount of grey in there scared the bejeesus out of me. Kenny Rogers would have been proud.
