Fantasy Football 2007-2008

This is for all non-EC or peripheral-EC topics. We all know how much we love talking about 'The Man' but sometimes we have other interests.

Fantasy Football 2007-2008

Post by Who Shot Sam? »

Time's a-wasting, so I thought I would set things up for 2007-2008. Go here to select your team.

http://fantasy.premierleague.com

Once you're ready, click leagues and under Join a Private League enter the league code, which is 128826-60922.

There are a few new wrinkles this season, including garish kit options, but it's essentially the same as last year.

I signed up over the weekend but haven't joined the league yet. So never fear, the bottom has been established! Maybe I'll do a tiny bit better this year now that I understand that the wildcard doesn't just get you ONE extra trade.

The new kit options are fun!

The New Originals are in.

Don't worry IP - I think the only competition I'll have to deal with is vying with MG for bottom place

9 players on board now. I would expect at least 12, once IP, Jackson and Otis join. Anyone else interested in giving it a try?

All in good time. Season starts weekend after next, it seems (why did I think it was this next one?).

My son and partner will be joing soon! Better watch out for my son Richard IP! (Dont think me or my partner are any threat to your top spot! ) Last season he abandoned his beloved Chelsea Lions halfway through as he has his 'A' level finals to concerntrate on. This season he tells me he is aiming for the top!!

Watch Your Step is back ! 8)

And my twins joined the league again with The Twins FC.

That makes 13 teams at the moment.

God that's a disturbing avatar!

Always good to see yoiu're out there, POP. Lame excuse though. See you, pal! Apparently Rafa has a beard, already much-maligned:

From the fuzzy pic, that seems rather exaggerated.

I think it suits him - breaks up the potato-ey look of his face.

Honestly, we didn't have internet for three months and the firewall at work blocks anything remotely entertaining so I couldn't do it there. Who needs friends when you have 24MB broadband at home? :D

Agree. Absurd Sun reaction. Funny headline though.

Got back from holidays at the Baltic seaside only to find out there were two gameweeks while I was away, not one.
On top of that Ronaldo saw red, Primus is injured and Lua-Lua has been sold to Greece. Brilliant start !! :x
Will have to use up my one-off all-transfers-for-free "wildcard".

That's nothing IP! I asked my brother to transfer Berbatov out and he transferred out Darren Bent. Well, it sounds the same doesn't it?

On top of that I had about 4 players who didn't play.

It's fair to say that like Sir Alex I haven't had the start to the season that I would have liked

Being bottom, at least the only way is up!

This is not going well for me.
I seemed to anticipate things in the last two seasons and now I'm always one step behind.

PS I wrote the very same post on FF forum :D , but it looks like the place is not visited by many people.
