what should i be for halloween?

This is for all non-EC or peripheral-EC topics. We all know how much we love talking about 'The Man' but sometimes we have other interests.

This morning you've got time for a hot, home-cooked breakfast! Delicious and piping hot in only 3 microwave minutes.

You could go as "the Human League" but you would really need to go with Phil Oakey or at least someone with an extremely asymmetrical hairdo.

Some things Doc and I came up with:

A multi-colored PowerPuff Girl

Susan Dey as a Partridge

A stained-glass window

A work of modern art - Carry a frame around yourself :)

Just pair it up with a broomstick and a pointy hat and go as a glamorous witch - or Dianna Ross (which is the same thing really)

I thought she was a Thin and Crusty Supreme

MBA - haven't you been to a party as a mod with your friends before?

It's the kind of dress that would befit Cindy Pearson of the B52s. You should get a cool beehive hairstyle and frug away to Rock Lobster or Love Shack.

I didn't say it was an original idea, VG. The dress just said "Peggy Lipton" to me.

But MDM, our MBA is a lady and as such she wouldn't dream of doing the same idea twice...

Unfortunately, I've dressed as a mod so many times that claiming it as a Halloween costume would only shrug a lot of shoulders. I might go as ALL your suggestions, and just come out with a new one every time somebody asks.

ExHo, I'll take your suggestions under consideration, but...you saw the picture, right? And you know I've been back for almost six months now, right? Or is your post a sly joke that went right over my head?

Maybe the "Even" part confused you. I was just asking if they celebrated Hallowe'en in Buenos Aires. Me and my family (well the younger ones anyway) are dressing up as the adams family for a party we were invited to. I wonder who in the adams family I s hould be?

And for when someone you hate says "And what are you dressed up as...?", you can reserve the line "A fucking kaleidoscope, what do you think!"

Kaleidoscope, that's a good one.

They don't really celebrate Halloween in Buenos Aires. They don't even really get what it is, and when one tries to explain it, one just sounds utterly stupid. "So then you dress up as a slutty pirate or something, and you demand candy from strangers and decorate your house with pumpkins with faces carved into them and fake tombstones..."

And the winner is...Spooky G, with "stained-glass window"!

Here is what it looked like last night:

I would post other pictures, but I seem to be wearing green plastic fangs in all of them...

You look amazing Miss BA.

That dress is the business. In fact, if I were you I'd really be concerned that it would attract too much attention and too many comments, regardless of whether it was being worn as a Halloween costume or not.

It's a very dangerous dress to wear...
