Worst album covers

This is for all non-EC or peripheral-EC topics. We all know how much we love talking about 'The Man' but sometimes we have other interests.

Post your favorites. Here's a recent baddie:

This morning you've got time for a hot, home-cooked breakfast! Delicious and piping hot in only 3 microwave minutes.

Rilo Kiley - The Execution of All Things. Vomitous cover, great album.

Kind of reminds me of this one - Pete Townshend's Scoop:

Bad album, bad cover...

Dylan has had some shockingly ugly album covers.

Of course, those are balanced out by Freewheelin' and Blonde on Blonde, two of the greatest album covers

Haha! I was about to back up Blue on posting the terrible Surprise cover but was then reminded of the Prince cover. Urgh 2000!

The Eno/Cale album is also real ugly, thankfully the new reissue is slightly less so.

That's one of my favourite covers ever! The fold out vinyl with Linda's beautiful face on the other side, that is. It's criminal that she's not on the backside of the recent Island CD reissue. This, on the other hand...(puke):

My work colleague sent me this link (I think it was for the ladies though  )

http://www.crystalpro.com/worst/cover16.html

I'm not sure how genuine these are but they made me laugh.

I think they're all genuine records.

I love Goats Head Soup. At least, it fascinated me as a kid in the shop when it came out. I count myself lucky to have grown up in the vinyl age where sleeves took on a huge significance and yoou'd go into shops and stare at them for ages. That Squeeze cover is great too.

I don't think they come much worse than this:

Oh yes it does, the censored version of their fourth album, Virgin Killer. I won't even post it.

You've said it now. You've got to post it...

...just like you've got to send me a copy of the worst debut CD ever issued.

Ugh. I did I google search for Scorpions Virgin Killer Censored. Urgh.

Surely you must mean the uncensored version being the worst?

I did too - I'm sorry I asked. That's disgusting. And the band blamed their record company.

Yeh, I meant the original, that the good censors withdrew. But the band picture ain't pretty either!

You could also make a case for The Stooges self-titled purely because of Iggy.
