Agreed on the girl power!

I have lowered my standards (something I'm quite used to doing in life) and am now very happy that I've got a score that's more than half the leader's!

Henry in or out? Once I've left here tonight my decision will have been made and should help me remain further behind the leaders if he doesn't play!

I'm wondering if this is the year that Henry's goal production begins to fall off. I didn't select him for my team because he was so incredibly expensive.

Will probably come back to bite me in the ass with a hat trick against Man United this weekend!

Bollocks to that! Sheva is looking like a waste of time too.

I'm keeping faith with Sheva. He's too good to have become Chris Sutton overnight. Isn't he?

Johnson scores for Everton - nice!

Damn, if only I'd got him at the start as planned. I'll buy him once he's gone off the boil and everyone else is selling him. I was gonna get Cahill in today, but went for Scottie P instead (in case Newc do something right in their doublke game week). BIG gamble on Sissoko as captain, but desperate measures required...

Go with James. Maroney is going to split carries with Corey Dillon.

Thanks BWAP!

I was heavily leaning that way too, but I just have this nagging feeling about Maroney.

On your advice, I'm sticking with James.

Pron should be Rositsky, I think. IP to help?

Well I finally get some decent points from Given, Fabregas (yukkk!) and MacCarthy, but Liverpool continue to be rubbish and my support of Sissoko as captain beleaguered and misguided. And Sheva nothing again. Tempted to wild card, but it's too soon!

Yes, he came on as a first half sub. Dunno how he played though.

Yep, that's the correct pronunciation. And the first name should be pronounced Tomash.

The Austinator created his own league. It's just a little too Psycho-esque with just a boy and his best friend (his mother) playing, so if any of y'all have a few extra minutes to join another league - it's "austin's challenge" and the code is 942758-141379, the boy (and his mother) would appreciate it. Maybe your twins, IP?

My team has been removed from the Clubland league for some strange reason, and the support guy tells me that I need to contact Otis to get the new league code so that I can re-enter, as he's been designated Admin (not sure why). In any case, Appalling FC will be back as soon as Otis gets back from New York, I imagine. I'd be happy to join the Austinator's league in the meantime. What's another league or two?

WSS - have you and SoLack been fighting again?

That's a bit of a gyp though - how could something like that happen? Upon reading your post I had to go and check that A Bevy Of Beauty was still there.

And once I had done so I was peeved to realise that had I stuck with keeping Henry as Captain my points would have substantially increased.
