I got an award!

This is for all non-EC or peripheral-EC topics. We all know how much we love talking about 'The Man' but sometimes we have other interests.

I got an award!

Post by BlueChair »

I finally got my yearbook from Ancaster Hall residence at University of Nottingham.

They have an awards section, and it seems that "Canadian Adam" has won for Best Male Hair. They also included a photo of my hair.

Well done Bluec Hair!

As I've not been on the board long, when were you in Nottingham? If it was a while ago perhaps you could give us a description. Was it any different then as to how it is now?!

I am currently sporting a shaved number 1 cut for all you haircut fans!

Congratulations BC -- I say, make sure you get maximum value out of your flowing locks while you've still got 'em!

(And if you want tips on the ins-and-outs of Rogaine/Minoxidil and how to avoid my semi-awful fate, in which I got there just a little bit late, I'm always there... )

The prize for Best Male Hair is at hand
Looks like the Competition is thick this year, cos no one's locks are bland
But if the competition is thick, it still can't stand up to our man
Now it's his turn to strut, too bad for Brits,
Your hair's atrocious, cut the mullet,
It's his end to shine, while your ends split.
Because the best hair, belongs to Blue Chair

No we've made up our minds, no need to delay
And there's no need to cry and moan, you'll never get your way
You ought to style your hair in more of the Canadian way
Now it's his turn to strut, too bad for Brits,
Your hair's atrocious, cut the mullet,
It's his end to shine, while your ends split.
Because the best hair, belongs to Blue Chair

Belongs to Blue Chair
Can't you see the way his hair frames his face and how it hangs from the front of his forehead?
Belongs to Blue Chair
Not too long and not too short, it's just right. It looks classic but it doesn't look retread.
Belongs to Blue Chair
Just give up spray waxing and pommade and all the wee-hour blow-drying
Belongs to Blue Chair
You say that he must use a stylist, but everyone knows that you're lying
Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh

But still you can't give it up,
Not for a minute, hour or day,
You're whining day and night
Alright, so be that way
I suppose it won't occur to you
Until you're bald and gray
That it's his turn to strut, too bad for Brits,
Your hair's atrocious, cut the mullet,
It's his end to shine, while your ends split.
Because the best hair, belongs to Blue Chair

Because the best hair, belongs to Blue Chair

Belongs to Blue Chair
Belongs to Blue Chair
Belongs to Blue Chair
Belongs to Blue
And not to you
Belongs to Blue Chair.
