A popular American singing group, the Mosquitoes (Bingo, Bango, Bongo, and Irving), land on the island hoping for some quiet and relaxation on a deserted island.

I looked that up.
The band managed to get to the island with all of their gear, but somehow Gilligan and crew didn't see fit to hitch a ride home. Hmmm...
Yes - this episode has some holes, and people are talking about it. I might direct you here - http://www.tv.com/gilligans-island/dont ... mmary.html

Nice clip, King! I'd enjoy the adrenalin rush of seeing you live. how were the Italians as an audience? Play their much? I always think of RSI and early-onset arthritis when I hear music like this. How do you keep it up. Does the drummer need a bucket of speed to play like that? I wouldn't be able to, that's for sure!

Italian punkers are generally good audiences that move about a lot and aren't afraid of being kicked and spat on but that clip is from the courtyard of an old castle on the very breezy sea front in November of last year and it was Freezing so they were unusually attentive rather than mobile. We haven't played Italy as much as we'd like to. 10-15 gigs through the years I guess. And we've never had a drummer play on speed as far as I know. And judging by the physique of most punk drummers I know, it's a trick rather than hard work.

That was lovely. Good for letting out a bit of aggression.

"This bird is being used as a kind of prostitute", the chicken legs and "...birds which came mysteriously to our planet in 1962" made me laugh! My favourite though was "This bird is making a model of itself".

The Afghan Wigs do a stunning live version of "Faded" and Greg Dulli manages sing, play guitar, say goodbye to a troublemaker and shout abuse to some Nazi in the crowd all at the same time.

Wonderful choreography in this 80's video from a former miss Finland and her boyfriend:

More wonderful choreography from the almost legendary Star Wars Kid (I'm so glad the Net wasn't around when I grew up!):

Saddam & Osama cartoon from SNL. I especially like the "Rocks" commercial break:

I assume everyone has seen this right? Fiona Apple really slays on this version of "I Want You" from the Elvis tribute show thingy a while back.

This may have been already referenced, but just in case.
These Japanese know what Reality TV is all about. Trust me, I can't imagine it getting much more real than this. Imagine...a game show that captures the spirit and intent of So Lacllustras posts to this forum...

I bought the complete Comic Strip Presents... yesterday (even though it was crap from about 1988 onwards, but it was cheap so I ain't complaining). I'd forgotten Elvis was in The Bullshitters episode: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EqzyUM2vllY

Wow, does he look young there! "Who's the gorilla?" :-)

Can't take a punch though!

Probably familiar to the UK folks, but the first time I've seen it. Very funny...
