Jackson 'Doofser' Monk is 40 Today

This is for all non-EC or peripheral-EC topics. We all know how much we love talking about 'The Man' but sometimes we have other interests.

Many happy returns...Hope you start feeling better about it...

Oddly enough, I'm 38 at the minute, but if, for instance, the kids do something wrong on the computer, I find myself saying..' How come you teenagers don't know how to do this on the computer, and yet me, a 40 year old bloke...' And they go 'you're 38..' and I say, 'Near enough..'

This leads me to believe that I don't really care about it, but I'll probably have a nervous breakdown when it actually comes...

Happy 40th Birthday Jackson.

Spurs are on the up and yet you're feeling down. Funny old world!

It IS only a number. Look at me - 42 with an even lower IQ!

Now when am I going to get to buy you that beer?

Cheers

Happy birthday, youngin'! At least you don't have to feel bad for not yet having written The Great American Novel.

Well, I'm always willing to raise a glass in someone's honor, hell, anyone's honor. But especially you dear Jackson.

And hey, don't feel bad. It really is just a number. Your body does start to ache a bit and so forth, but you have to keep going - keep taking care of yourself. That's what keeps you young.

You can do anything you want to. For instance, I'm 41 and just last month got my belly button pierced. Although that's probably not something you would want to do.

Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday Jackson!!!!

Warm up 40 real good, cause I'm headed it's way.

Interestingly enough I'll probably fall apart this year (39), as when I turned 29 I had a big 'ol melt down, but when I turned 30 I didn't care.

40....hmmm.....good age to announce you're gay!!! Just for fun!!!

Or maybe you should ask your secretary to look at red sports car brochures?

You could announce to everyone that you just figured out what to do with your life!!!

You want to be a fireman/policeman/male stripper/manwhore/Navy Seal/Secret Agent/Doctor/Brain Surgeon/Rocket Scientist/Chess Master/Serial Killer - on second thought don't mention that one/Astrophysicist/Tootsie Roll Lick Numerator/Britney Spears 'handler'/Courtney Love's 'minder'/EC's housekeeper - All houses/transmission mechanic/movie producer/screenwriter/inventor/Microsoft Executive/barfly now.

You could try one out each day until others get bored.

Anywhooooo....happy 40!!!!!!!!

Thanks to you all for your best wishes.

I'm having a big bash for 100 tomorrow at the local golf club. Coaches laid on etc.

I shall begin the dancing with 'I Can't Stand Up for Falling Down' 8)
