Christmas music

This is for all non-EC or peripheral-EC topics. We all know how much we love talking about 'The Man' but sometimes we have other interests.

did anyone catch Brian Wilson singing God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen on Leno last night? It was rugged to watch. Tonight it is Princess Diana with Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas.

Blue, I heard one song off that Hendrix album and it was kinda like the Star Spangled Banner thing - it got old real fast. I hope the rest is better.

oh yeah, this one's pretty good...

The way Lena Horne sings it, it's a really sexy come on song, right up there with Baby it's Cold Outside. Recommended.

The Vince Guaraldi album--music from the Charlie Brown Christmas special. Nothing says Christmas like "Skating"...brings me back to my childhood.

Winter Wonderland by Aretha Franklin. One the happiest songs ever when sung by her.

This Christmas by Donny Hathaway. I consider this one of the classics.

Funky Christmas by James Brown. Santa's puttin' some stank on it.

Can't agree more. Unbelievable IMHO!

Funky Christmas replaced the Santa's Got A Brand New Bag I mentioned above (both Rhino releases).
