Is that our Misha? I guess it must be.
This morning you've got time for a hot, home-cooked breakfast! Delicious and piping hot in only 3 microwave minutes.

So johnfoyle, are you really Colin Barrett? And if so, are you still martinfoyle's brother?

I have been keeping up with Misha via the listserv and have emailed her a few times before her wedding to wish her well. I received email from her just a couple of days ago talking about how happy she is - and how busy she is. But everybody deserves to be happy, so I'm happy for her.

I did harass her to come back to the board when time permitted. :)

I speak quite a lot to her but wasn't sure if she wanted this posted.

It must be true love to want to live in Carlisle!

When Joe Bloggers take over the news

Published: Thursday, December 1, 2005

( extract)

What happens when you let a bunch of bloggers loose on your paper's website? Nick Turner decided it was high time his regional newspaper found out...

SHOULD NEWSPAPER editors take any interest in the phenomenon of blogging?

Probably not, if you believe the recent survey that suggested most people had never even heard of blogging and, in fact, more of them were familiar with the term dogging.

But while blogging - the craze for keeping an online diary of views or personal events - may not yet be mainstream enough to have entered into everyday vocabulary, it cannot be so easily dismissed.

One popular blog was the diary of a Californian woman who was moving to Cumbria to marry a man she met on an Elvis Costello fansite.

Well, bittersweet though it is, it's clear it all turned out for the best for our beloved Misha. I mean's who's going to read a blog about a "California woman who moved 15 miles from Downey to Anaheim"!

Yeah, it's really nice here. Total shock from Southern CA life, that's for sure. Feels like I'm walking around in a Dickens novel.

I don't know if I'll get used to this....it's very surreal. Cobblestone streets!!! For real!!!

Judging by her experiences it's no wonder the dentist had vacancies.

Hiya All!!!

The things you read to keep up to date!! My blog!! Preposterous!!

The teeth are much better. I am no longer plotting his death....well today anyway. I can give the guy a break. He made a mistake, and he did what no dentist within five states of California would do, which was apologise for it and fess up and try to make it better. Any self respecting dentist in California blamed me or my teeth.

In defence of my crap dentist, I have even crappier teeth. So,,,,much better now. Not on drugs, but still waiting for one last root canal.

And...don't know if I could leave him anyway.....dentist shortage in Carlisle right now, but they are opening new practices as we speak.

So...I haven't been around hardly at all.....I'm sure I've missed something....

I will try to come around more, cause you guys make me laugh....and I miss ya....and my husband John Foyle shouldn't have to do all of the cross-pollination from lists and websites to keep you all up to date.

And VG...no more correcting my weirdo/wierdo stuff......cause I honestly can't keep that whole thing straight!!

Anyone wanna hang out in London Tuesday night? I've got a business meeting on Weds and am coming in Tues night to sleep over.

There's a good indian place around the corner from my hotel.........
