Same rules as Tower of Song... each board member can only subtitute in a particular artist once. This game will self destruct on Halloween.

Ride Your Pony - Lee Dorsey
At Last - Etta James
Tighten Up - Archie Bell & The Drells
Soul Man - Sam & Dave
Midnight Train To Georgia - Gladys Knight & The Pips
Time Is On My Side - Irma Thomas
See-Saw - Don Covay
Papa's Got A Brand New Bag - James Brown
Green Onions - Booker T. & The MGs
I'll Take You There - The Staple Singers
This morning you've got time for a hot, home-cooked breakfast! Delicious and piping hot in only 3 microwave minutes.

It's probably not nice to do this soon, but I think there's at least one great soul song that was used in "Jackie Brown" (the Delfonics are fine, but a bit sweet for my taste, I guess).

Out -- Delfonics
In -- My kinda namesake Womack

Try A Little Tenderness - Otis Redding
I Never Loved a Man - Aretha Franklin
Soul Man - Sam & Dave
Midnight Train To Georgia - Gladys Knight & The Pips
Papa's Got A Brand New Bag - James Brown
Cissy Strut--The Meters
Love And Happiness - Al Green
What's Goin' On - Marvin Gaye
The Love I Saw In You Was Just a Mirage - Smokey Robinson & the Miracles
Across 110th Street -- Bobby Womack

Fun fact -- the song was written for another film called "Across 110th Street", a sort of urban remake of "In the Heat of the Night" crossed with an ultra-downscale caper film starring Yaphet Kotto and Anthony Quinn -- definitely worth seeing if this is your kind of thing. However, the version that was used in the film was different and, IMO, far less exciting than the version that was featured in "Jackie Brown."
