Phil Spectors Hair Do Do Ron Ron

This is for all non-EC or peripheral-EC topics. We all know how much we love talking about 'The Man' but sometimes we have other interests.

Phil Spectors Hair Do Do Ron Ron

Golly!

Looks like something from Dr Seuss.
echos myron like a siren
with endurance like the liberty bell
and he tells you of the dreamers
but he's cracked up like the road
and he'd like to lift us up, but we're a very heavy load

it's kind of Diana Ross and Rob Zombie teased into one. Keep away from open flame, Phil!
Like me, the "g" is silent.

He was just looking at Michael Jackson and wondering..."What can I do to look weirder than THIS guy?"

Not a bad try....This is like a worst case scenario for Jewish hair.

He looks like he's ready to audition for the Jimi Hendrix Experience
This morning you've got time for a hot, home-cooked breakfast! Delicious and piping hot in only 3 microwave minutes.

You're right, it's the old double standard. How very disappointing.

Phil's do is at least 4 or 5 inches higher than Einstein's.

And I think a lot of people probably made fun of his hair. We just weren't around to do so in the 20s and 30s

From the Jimi Hendrix comments, looks like he could be Bob Dylans Grandmother.

I am reminded of the title of an old Franklin Ajaye comedy album.

"Don Smoke Dope, Fry Your Hair!"

The weirdest thing about that picture is that the hair itself would look perfectly normal if it had grown on Gene Wilder's head 20 years ago, the shot had been taken from right in front of the guy AND Gene's head had been twice as large as Phil's.
What this world needs is more silly men.
