Just when you thought Axl Rose has gotten as low as he possibly could:

Axl Jailed In Stockholm

Updated 09:01 PDT Tue, Jun 27 2006

(The Associated Press)

Axl Rose was arrested early Tuesday after
allegedly biting a security guard in the leg at his hotel, police said.

The Guns N' Roses frontman was ordered held in jail by prosecutors on suspicion of attacking and threatening the guard, as well as causing damage to the Berns Hotel where the alleged scuffle took place, said police spokeswoman Towe Hagg.

Rose, 44, could be kept in jail until Friday, Hagg said.
This morning you've got time for a hot, home-cooked breakfast! Delicious and piping hot in only 3 microwave minutes.

I would have thought that Axl could have found something else to do in Stockholm. . . . .

Well, it was only the leg. The ankle or foot would've been even lower. 8)

The mind boggles.... I guess we all knew he had that bandana tied WAY too tight all those years.

Surely he would have been looking behind him if that was the case.

Back to random thoughts - why are solicitors so rubbish?

Mrs VG and I made wills in 2001 (back when Mrs VG was Miss Non-VG). I was recently told that (in the UK) wills are no longer valid when you get married so we would have to do new ones. I didn't know this, checked it with our solicitors who confirmed this was the case and and made an appointment with them. So I had the depressing time of going into our solicitors and explaining the situation, and had them send copy of our wills so that we could update them, having told them that we got married in 2003. No problem.

So we receive a letter from the solicitors to say that "We understand you are getting married in June this year" FFS!

So I am currently in the throes of trying to make it nice and easy for our solicitors.

Having looked at the wills again, why don't they write them in plain English?

I am not a lapinsjolis.

We assumed our will would carry over when the wife and I got married, but discovered that we had to go back to drawing board once we tied the knot. Then again after the birth of each of our children. There won't be any more ankle biters joining our household, so we should now be set for a good long time. I'm surprised at how many of my friends in their 30s do not have a will of any kind.

You have to have stuff to leave it to someone else. That's why I don't have a will! :)

Watching an episode of 'Andy Griffith' I haven't seen before. In this one, Opie is spending too much time with Thelma Lou and Barney doesn't like it. Not one bit. It was funny to hear Opie ask Barney why he (Barney) wants to take Thelma Lou on a night drive out to the duck pond.

I'm off to LA to enjoy some fun in the sun, take in a baseball game at Chavez Ravine, visit with my sister and do some serious flaking out. Will be hitting the closest Tommy's for a double chili cheese burger as soon as I arrive. :D :D

My first visit "home" since 1988. It's gonna be strange.

On second thought, it's always been strange. Stranger maybe.

Hope the burger is as good as 18 years ago! Weird to spend that long away from where you grew up. It would be strange to go to Chavez Ravine after learning all about it from Ry, I guess I'd feel sad. The LP has all that lovely documentation that brings the story home to you.

Does anybody know if Elvis is going to tour internationally after he's done with Canada/States?

Here's a shocking thought: some of us have been posting to this board (in its various iterations) for nearly four years now. Does anyone know/recall when the Island website's board came into being? Foyles??

The last WC must have been pretty sedate with no FF and no WSS to argue with about it.
