An (not so) interesting statistic ...

This is for all non-EC or peripheral-EC topics. We all know how much we love talking about 'The Man' but sometimes we have other interests.

An (not so) interesting statistic ...

Post by Jackson Doofster »

I noticed when changing my profile that it tells you how many posts you make on average per day. So I looked up the Memberlist and discovered that:

Spooky G is the champion poster with 5.31 posts per day

Rope is just behind on 5.06

Sulky on 4.55 is third

The other regular posters are all around 3. something.

Noise and I have posted exactly the same amount of posts (until this one)

I NEED TO GET A LIFE!!

Thanks for pointing that out doofer. I do admit to running a load of laundry, then posting. Washing dishes, then posting. Making beds, then posting. It was the hubby's idea to put this damned computer so handy where I had to pass by it all the time. :)

Besides, I love you people. And my messages are usually not very long anyway.

And I've been posting a bunch of pics for you, too, Doof!!!!!

<sigh>...I feel so inadequate... :(
A lot of Christians wear crosses around their necks. Do you think when Jesus comes back he ever wants to see a fuckin' cross? It's kind of like going up to Jackie Onassis with a rifle pendant on.

Well, once I start training for my new job (forced inter-office transfer, damn it!! I was very happy where I'm at, but their moving my "client" to a different location, and I can't afford to quit, or relocate) I'll probably be posting much less.

***sigh***

I've tried, but I just can't stop. Chalk it up to a massive ego, a fervent will, a practiced talent, a love for Elvis, and an ass-kicking high-speed satellite connection.

It's a Kinder Murder. You're doin' fine, Blue C.

My husband convinced me that DSL would change the way I worked on the computer and I never believed him until we got it. I don't know how we lived without it now. I can have up so many windows at one time - balancing a checkbook, paying bills online, and posting on this site all at the same time. High speed does kick ass, Rope! :)

Actually, I look at those statistics all the time, or at least mine. I make a conscious effort to keep my average posts per day number under two. Somehow that makes me feel like even more of a nerd than if I didn't pay any attention and racked up some outrageous number of posts.

Oh jeepers, watch the neuroses fly...! Know what I did to avoid having to hear what my class rank was in high school? Dropped out!! Highly effective....

Message Board Envy strikes again! This is a serious condition and requires compulsory admission to hospital for assessment and possibly treatment. (MHA 1983 Section 2)

In accordance with public opinion, I post less frequently. Below the average.

I will change my screen name to "1.645 Standard Deviations left of the Mean" or "sub-Gaussian".

The poster formerly know as Mr. Average and, good forbid, that horrible guy named draperdan (cleverly disquised transpositional code involving my first and last names).
