George Michael Message Board

Postby taz » Fri Jul 09, 2004 10:54 am

George Michael shuts down his message board due to negative comments from fans...wonder how it'd go if Elvis saw our site... :)

A lot of Christians wear crosses around their necks. Do you think when Jesus comes back he ever wants to see a fuckin' cross? It's kind of like going up to Jackie Onassis with a rifle pendant on.

From that article:

"One disappointed fan brands the star's decision "ludicrous."

"It's a fans' forum, it's freedom of speech and I don't think it's down to George to take his ball home and say 'I'm not playing any more,'" the fan writes.

"The fact of the matter is that people have opinions and they are entitled to them, that's what a forum is for. "

Yeah. What that guy said. :)

Well, if I were George, I'd shut it down, too. Who wants to provide people with a forum to talk about how fat you are?

That is precisely why I was forced to shut down the Bobster fan message board!

Now wait one minute!!! Just cause Bobster has moved to my stomping grounds doesn't mean anything...

And just because of the kid and all....

Sheesh!!

MS!!! Turns out I'm busy trying to be a bad influence on someone else at the moment...and I'm doing a great job, I might add!!

I'll take you to Bobster MS....come on over, and we'll suprise him.

come on then, Poppetster! and grab pip while you're at it. and I think PoP/UB is a fan. G2S wants to see his pic, so we'll have to grab her as well.

A road trip with you gals would be fun as hell, as they say around here.

yeah, 'cause we ALL know how much fun hell is. yee HA!

road trip! and this way i avoid the rest of the damned DNC. we've been told scary stories about it for the past two months, and now it's here.

hasn't affected me yet, well, except to get me at work at 8am rather than my more normal late arrival time of 9:30. hope to avoid traffic going home - i have no choice, i can't drive to work (no parking) and i can't walk all the way home. bus it is. yay.

bobster fan club road trip! ah, if only it were real. *sigh*

I prefer to worship from afar, so I'll have to sit out the Bobster meet-and-greet. But I'm always up for a road trip. I could mix drinks or something.

Fair warning, though: I get carsick if I don't sit in front. And I have to stop like every hour to pee.

I'll be sitting in your lap, then, Goody. Or I could drive, when I pass my test, but I'll still be sick over everyone.

Oh, please. I have a huge van that can fit everyone. I don't get carsick much and I've learned to control my trips to the restroom. I'll drive the damn van and you can all just ride. Most of you seem too excited to drive anyhow. :)

You all need your medications adjusted.

But, hey, I'm in. Let's hop in the van and hit the carpool lane. We can be at either his work or home in about twenty minutes from my place.

No one tell him, though....would ruin the fun.

Poor Bobster.......

Goody, we'll put the bar in the very back of the van, that way it will at least look like we tried once we get pulled over.
