This is for all non-EC or peripheral-EC topics. We all know how much we love talking about 'The Man' but sometimes we have other interests.

At the Junction - Squeeze
Compost, the song is called "Up The Junction". I bet you've been getting millions of emails about that!

Corrected.....thank you Kissy Monster.

Hey Compost (????),

I'll take my request not being included as a hint for something a little more accessible, so how about "Blue" by The Jayhawks
This morning you've got time for a hot, home-cooked breakfast! Delicious and piping hot in only 3 microwave minutes.

Please don't ever think that the requests must be "accessible". I had a guest on last week's show - that segment took up nearly half of my time. That's the only reason your tune wasn't played - my time was limited.

I'm assuming you played the original "soundtrack" recording of the Underdog thing.

It was on a Televison's Greatest Hits cd.....they all sounded original.

Hey Cos -

Is it true that you are going to do an All Men At Work All The Time podcast in the near future?

Admittedly this is clever but I don't approve of name calling. You owe cosmos an apology! But what I do approve of is your precise punctuation here. One question mark would not be sufficient to communicate the degree of your confusion so you offered a whole bouquet of them. And how safe and secure they are cloistered within their protective parentheses! You lavish great care on all your posts, Blue, and it shows.

It's funny about "Who Can It Be Now?" When it originally came out I loved it and bought the single but now I can't listen to it.

Are you familiar with this dude, Cos? If he's the first podcast star, then you should be on your way to Alan Freed status in no time.
I am ashamed to admit that I have not yet been able to listen in to Cosmos' radio show. The playlists have been tasty, though.

Speaking of podcasts, Apple just released its latest version of iTunes (4.9), with the ability to upload and download podcasts. May be worth checking out, Cosmos. More info here, including a link on how to get your podcast published:

I'm there. Finally, a Friday afternoon with nobody asking me to do anything. I even stopped Husker Du's Candy Apple Grey midway through to listen in. That takes some doing!

Dead Flowers.. love this song.

Managed to catch the last 15 minutes of the show, cosmos... you're doing wonderfully and I wish I could tune in to the full broadcast. I have next Friday off of work, so maybe I'll try to listen to the whole show next week.

Thanks for listening, y'all! I appreciate it very much.

There are a couple of old shows on the site now, so if you can't catch it live, you can listen there.
