Silent but deadly...

Post by A rope leash »

The noise is...brrraaapppp!?

This poetry is rather impenetrable. There seems to be a silent anger here, though.

Poetry is an excellent way to cleanse one's self of these nasty impulses.

I feel a sorrow, as well. You're okay, LC.?

and on this day dear lover
when the song of my life sours
and every turn is predicted

and I am dead with dismay
your tainted mouth wakes me

and I begin again to sorrow the world

fool and fool we, it matters nothing

love is not a choice
and I am not a chooser...just a goddamn dog

and a fucking loser

The Wrong Spectacle

Post by A rope leash »

There once was an obstinate sire
Who created some political ire
It was said of the dog
When he came back to the blog
“He was such a little tryer!”

Hey Rope...glad you're back here too. I have taken up with a cat since we last spoke...he is a boisterous soul, walks like John Wayne and talks the talk too. He enjoys chasing things much like a dog, especially balls of paper.

Just in passing, a note to anyone with agendas and snipes already cooking... no arguments on my thread...don't let your opinions and self-expression make mine look like discarded sweet wrappers in a retirement home.

My cat was fantastic at chasing flies. He was killer.

I stink like the certain shit of a morning after a stone cool happening.
I suffered those contusions and said it was allreet.

I didn’t wane I collapsed. This shit is rigged, you know.

There was once a young tyrant, but now he’s dead.
How lucky is he.

How much slapping you will it take? I’m slapping myself, to stay awake.

Good to see you, good to see you, good to see you, girl.
To dream, perhaps not the last time.

I was an ugly cur. I fanned up my fur.
Free the radio

I’m so sick of all of your going along. I’ll not rest till I’ve made us tired.

How am I at all responsible? Everything’s an act of God, even me.
If I believe.

It’s only me and I’m not the greatest. I’m always in the mood for a hatefest.
But I know that’s not for everybody.

I am not sorry, or forgiven. You’re so silly, and so porcelain.

There’s no dog like an old dog. Not a really old dog, but…

…why should it seem so odd when
I’ve become so maudlin

Getting kicked kinda hurts
my just desserts.
Tastes good with another coming banging my head on a rock or a tree
Feels good writing poetry
Wasted stinking wasted I throw my shit
Monkey see monkey do
I throw it to you

You are wise to duck, but what the fuck, three lefts make a right
I lost the fucking fight but I win because you saw it monkey see monkey shoo
This I can do
I told them all
This I can do, and how much slapping?

When you least expect it. Good to see you back Rope, missed you.
Now I'm the invisible man, and you can't see me.

My name is Burtum, I am a redneck
All my friends, they call me Burt
(Hi, Burt)
All my family, from down in Texas
Makes their livin diggin dirt

Come out here to Californee
Just to find me some pretty girls
I buy 'em candy
I buy 'em jew'ry
I know they love me for what I'm worth.

I'm lonesome cowboy Burt
Don'tcha get my feelings hurt
Come down to my place, and I'll buy you a case
and you can sit on my face...

where's my waitress?

Opal, you hot little bitch!
