Frank Lewis was a really bright guy. He just needed to have a woman behind him, and then he could keep pumping in life they way he had in his 20's. He was 42, a seasoned Advertising man. A heavy smoker of cigarettes more so than a heavy drinker of liquor, though he could really go around the bend and go hedonistically crazy at times. He wouldn't tire and would always welcome company. It was an elusive woman that long managed to maintain his interest for he was often busy with one project or another. His latest, however, involved Sarah Bourke...

Sarah Bourke was a door slammer. She had always remained angry and didn't fully understand why, though she'd long got sick of apologizing to anyone about it, especially to men. Often accused of being aloof, she was. She just couldn't hear it from most women and certainly not from those men, but Frank Lewis spoke another languague and she was suddenly fascinated. If she'd ever been concerned that her high class working girl days were possibly a bad example to her then 17 year old sister Candice (it'd been three years before), she was now without doubt that she could live a fun life as assistant, lover and confidant to Frank, and that her sister could be close to them...
