Camelot In Smithereens

Post by wehitandrun »

An upgrade for "Proof Of Death"...

"Camelot In Smithereens" (rough)
. copyright 2004 Kevin Scampoli

I've exorcised countless demons (if exercising's the act of eating).
I'm occupied battling the other I's in a game of newspaper headlines.
But they can't hold a candle to the reciprical war crimes which have plagued our policy of foriegn affairs.

I've robbed two banks and cracked two spines. But, primary me leads by three.
The beauty output could drain a Sharpie and leave you breathless with soap as shaving cream.
But it's only comparable to teaching history and surrounding yourself with (adjective) folklore.

What I'd give for my clumsy feet to meet black ice, or to get my chin under a knife.
The comical chronicals of distorted self image, as lived by a vampire.

Put your hand over your mouth and don't you dare scalp the sun.
Because I'll accept no competition when I melt the icecaps and go down in history as a text book's bolded name.
Me and my cat had a chat the day before last.
Nearing track seven of our longest shot, we came to an agreement that my judgement is cancerous.

Well, I guess that's why you didn't write it.

Go be meaningless somewhere else.

I have to admire anyone who can place this lyric in song. Quite remarkable.

Awww, thankyou Jackson. My delivery on "aff-airs" always angered me since recording it, but I'll fix it up with the real demo.
