Pussycat Pavarotti

Post by Mr. Misery »

Unravel the mystery and identify the author of this delightful song!

"Pussycat Pavarotti"

Once you stop resisting my kissing
You will cross your name off the list
of American atheists
Cause my lips have a divine appeal
You'll know that Heaven is real

I'm a pussycat Pavarotti
Some say I'm a hottie
If loving was a language Shakespeare would be be my name
If kissing was a war novel I'd beat Hemingway at his game
This tiger you can't tame

Surrender to the power that is in my magical wooing
There'll be no peace but like a dove you'll be cooing
My spell of amor is such a happy hex
You be my Audrey and I'll be your Rex

Gentlemen are jealous, as they should be, of my finesse
My unassuming genius that calls to mind Alec Guinness
You aren't to blame for finding bliss in my arms
To deny a chance with me would do irreparable harm

I'm sorry. I spaced out there for a minute...

Cool song could be a hit.

I thought Rope may be asking a question but he wasn't so the 'yes?' stands alone with no one to claim it.

Has anybody written the music for those lyrics yet?
This morning you've got time for a hot, home-cooked breakfast! Delicious and piping hot in only 3 microwave minutes.

Though I was banking on the second Christopher Buckley to win the poll, the author of the delightful and cool 'Pussycat Pavarotti' is indeed Lapinsjolis; Miss BA, Selfmademug, and A Rope Leash are correct! No music has been written for the lyrics as yet, Blue Chair.

Hmm..

Maybe I'll take a crack at it.. if it's okay with Ms. Jolis

Good glory Blue! It was done as a joke and never meant to be a song at all. You may write any music you wish I'd love to hear it.
