Set list ideas for all-female EC cover band.

Post by veronicacostello »

I'm planning on putting together an all-female EC cover band. I think it's going to take ages to get a keyboard player

I have a list of songs I want to do, but I would love to get ideas from any of you as well. It will be a bar band, so I would kind of like to keep it predominantly a high-energy line up of songs.

Definitely Girls Talk is on my list. Maybe Honey, too.

I don't think I'm ready to tackle the complexity of sounds on many of the albums, so for now I am trying to go mostly with songs that I think would be most possible to pull off reasonably well with just guitar, bass, keys & drums.

So far here's what I'm thinking:
(in no particular order)

Wednesday Week
Big Tears
Girls Talk
Talking in the Dark
Blue Chair
Next Time Round
Lipstick Vogue
American Gangster Time
Let Him Dangle
Crawling to the USA
Lover's Walk
Strict Time
From A Whisper To A Scream
Uncomplicated
King Horse
Accidents Will Happen
Playboy To A Man
Kinder Murder
Monkey To Man
Rocking Horse Road
My Science Fiction Twin
45
Five Gears In Reverse
Oliver's Army
Radio Radio
This Years Girl
Less Than Zero
Watching The Detectives
Tear Off Your Own Head
Night Rally
Running Out Of Angels
The Imposter
