You were supposed to come here and thoroughly discredit me! That was a great show. I got excited at the thought that there may be a copy of it floating around somewhere.

no worry...ANCT will hit the bootleg to verify that you are probably wrong...NO OFFENSE!
Haha, can I at least get the bootleg then? :D

I mean it was 8 years ago now (good lord....) but I believe the entire show was Elvis and an acoustic guitar, and I think I remember taking note (this could obviously all be fabricated now) that he played that bit since it was both fitting for the show and I remembered reading here about how he rarely plays it. I definitely know he at least broke into 'I Say A Little Prayer' at the end. That's a bit more clear than the other part, so maybe that doesn't bode well.

No known recording. No ref to I Say A Little Prayer here, but he's often done that at the end of IWY. no refs to the opening in this thread:

Delighted though I was to have separated MP3s of the show, lossless FLAC files off Dime is perfect as this one is a keeper for CD, especially as I won't have the album for a few days at least

Dave
surely looks PROFESSIONALLY shot to me too Dave, and NO DOUBT as the band was celebrating heavily and hence had MANY photographers and videographers on hand ALL NIGHT LONG. i do not see it mentioned in the thread, but we had to WATCH them partying STAGE LEFT from 9:00 til 10:00 before hitting the stage. i must have seen EC go up and down the stairway, (i imagine to the backstage area ABOVE the stage) a good 4-5 times in that hours span. a perfect ten of a night put over the top by the incredible WFUV broadcast. GOOD GOD...DON'T YOU WISH THE DAY AFTER EVERY SHOW WE GOT SUCH A FINE BROADCAST???? i get the willies just thinking such thoughts.

Excellent clip. Note that ?uestlove is using clear drum heads, so insteads of his coated white ones and Yamaha kit, a clear-headed Ludwig. Interesting.

Elvis looks like he misses his guitar, but the megaphone was a good option.

Just downloaded the show off Dime. I have it cranked on the good stereo right now. Sounds great! Perfect addition to the album.

I've been meaning to say, Elvis's learning of Italian in the 90s has had a lasting effect in that he rather absurdly refers to 'la Santa Chechilia' when he should just say 'Sesilia' (though personally I would would want to say the also ridiculous sounding 'peninsular' version 'Thethilia'!). Someone should point out to him that she ain't Italian!

While working on the dubbed Blu-ray, I noticed a cool moment at 1:36:

EC reacts to the horn riff with a little laugh.
