Well, the news I got out of this was that "Painted From Memory" is going to have an "extended life" sometime in the future as a musical!

That definitely, but for me it reinforced the friendship and respect these two have for one another and their individual bodies of musical work. It is not a 'mutual admiration society' but two craftsmen who know the value of one another's work. In a way it was like eaves dropping on their private conversation.

Brilliant. I always enjoy Burt and Elvis' conversations. Thanks for that, doc.

Great "Town Hall" session. Burt is the real deal - down to earth and always in touch with art. Loved his comment about aspiring new artists... "As long as they were born 40 years ago..." That's my zone and it's so right on... It's a small window of people, too, as not many were born between 65-69. I think this window represents Gen X, as we have lived in the analog world and did our best to create a free/open digital world. Any kid past this birth zone, is Gen Y. (in my opinion).
